Financing properties is expensive and difficlt while the fed is loaning money for zero percent.Bottom line, this is not a housing led problem.

In addition, while we did get a detailed scope of work, we never got a cost breakout of labor, materials and our choices (paint, vanities, cabinets, etc) which led to number changes mid deal, etc. that made it very stressful and ugly. 

They did not smoke in the home but had other problems that led to an eviction.
