Being creative I started a probate on this property, only relatives are a sister and a brother both in their 90's, the sister agreed to work with me but the brother did not.  

Lost a house to foreclosure in 2009 was going to rent current hose living in know form sister-law .

If so, it may just be worth it to make the trip and have a heart to heart and maybe even some type of "incentive" for him/her to keep them motivated.I am dealing with a similar situation where there was a deed that was drawn up back in 1961 where the mom, dad, and three sisters were on title.

@Ukiah Austin I've been working with my sister who is based out of Ocean Pines, but does work in Salisbury, Snow Hill, and surrounding areas.  

Her sister is still receiving notices from the bank requesting arrears of 16k to bring the payments current.
