Now if it is something that is out of control & there are clear signs of intrusion through the house, then that may be a consideration for you to investigate in order to seal & prevent them from getting into the house.Ants & most other critters like safety from the elements as much as people do, they search for food & water too.

I replaced the flooring, painted all the walls, new water heater, and a few other things.It was incredibly challenging during the renovations because I was doing all the work myself and things were moving slowly.

The air conditioning unit was on and working, I think the hot water heater was replaced in 2023.

(Water, Garbage, electrical, and whatever) 

Upon move-out, there was substantial water damage to the flooring where their refrigerator was.

As soon as an item is placed into service, the lifespan of the item has started.For example if a water heater replacement is $1200 in your market and lifespan is expected to be 10 years, the water heater has maintenance/cap ex o $10/month.    2 water Heaters means $20/month.  

Scarcity and folks love being on the water..

The cost of public water and public sewer bills have increased drastically.

This blows my monthly budget out of the water.

Water damage is something you won't know till you start tearing things up to see the extent.
