"Why are you always filming me? 

We're supposed to be mavericks and risk takers; deal makers and not dream takers. haha  I say go for it if you find a good deal and you'll make it work.  

---I don't like TK, but I understand why people want to do it. 1) Very (somewhat) passive2) Great for people who don't want to be "IN" real estate a ton but also don't want low returns of a REITI commend you for jumping in especially if you're not trying to make RE a big part of your life, just an investment area. 

While both are impressive, I respect the second avenue more than the syndicator/deal maker.

Its easy to picture the glory of a huge passive income, but grinding though months of frugality will give you a small window into the sacrifices required to make RE work. 

We reported it & 10 guys & equipment showed up from the town & deemed it a potential hazard BUT we could NOT remove it ourselves, even though we had also complained that tree limbs (widow makers) were falling on the sidewalk used by young school kids.

Film Studies.

There are tenants who think that they couldn't have cancelled their vacation to Mexico because it was already planned and therefore they couldn't make rent.  

To have to pay around $300 for the inspection plus the filing fee with the city and to have to go through it all again in 6-7 years seems like a money maker for the city and less like something to "help" renters. 

I have no desire to make real estate a career, either.
