I picked up the "Wholesaling Bible" by Than Merrill and have been glued to it, since their 3 day workshop.

The long story short is that we went to a 3 day workshop here in Sydney and got 'Sold' the opportunity to make money in the US remotely from here.

Unless you're planning to pay the electric and split it between the tenant for the house and tenant for the workshop, you won't be able to rent it to someone else. 

It has some interesting features in that in the past it appears to have been owned by a contractor - it has a four-wide driveway suitable for many large vehicles - 200 amp service - two outbuildings (including a large workshop with windows and a loft) - a large add-on family room to the original house - and a wrap around back porch - a large single bathroom with a jetted tub and a tile patio area at the side of the house.  

The laws to start with aren't straightforward and they have recently changed under Trump (my sister in law works in a tax office and they're still doing workshops to get their heads around the updates).

Typically about 45 days or so before the sale there is a workshop you can attend to understand the process and register on the website where tax sale properties are posted.  

The two siblings that were appointed executors, only because the will was done in a workshop and it simply suggested the oldest boy and the oldest girl be appointed those positions not because of their experience or knowledge in this field.
