Everyone is an adult.

The military has created systems that force new soldiers to learn almost no basic adult functions.

I am now expecting my second child so it really isn't feasible for me to be in a traditional for several more years.Being a female investor has very different challenges that most men will never experience. 

They need to be adults.

One of my renter's lease was ending, 3 years never missed a payment, 3 young adults, one of the people leaving the house had a tough time finding a place and I had short term rented my own home so I thought I can kill 2 birds with one stone, move to the rental and save money because I don't have to rent another place and I also can start fixing the rental house to sell it.  

I went to the International Culinary school in Pittsburgh......lol....Then I managed restaurants my whole adult life until RE.

First tenants we had (mother, adult daughter, two teenage grand daughters) skipped out during one weekend. 

When I was new, my worst tenants came thru realtors or property managers, like the 9-person family who only put two adults and two kids on the application, but the PM only provided me the written application to review because the applicant belonged to a protected class and the PM was afraid of getting sued.For only owning/managing one rental, I wouldn't hire a PM.

About 8 people lived in the house from three generations: the parents who were divorcing, adult children, and the spouse and children of one of the adult children.
