Instead, they will do it themselves or let their nephew, adult child, cousin, brother, retired parents or some other family member do the arbitrage.

We are about 30-40 female real estate investors newbie to experienced who meet monthly to discuss all aspects of real estate.

We have one SFR (our previous home) and we do our own version of house hacking by renting our downstairs MIL suite to two of our adult children.

He mentioned that he often experienced regret at skipping this period of his life and going directly into an adult occupation at 17.Work will always be there, and many of us will work 30 to 50 years of our lives. 

@Kevin Rea I’ll tell you one thing, recently my girlfriend moved from San Jose, CA, to Northern Kentucky (where I was born and raised) and she can NOT get mad at paying less than $780 a month for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with me as opposed to $1,000 a month sharing 1 bathroom with 3 other female roommates in a townhome. ($1,000 was for her room rent ALONE I couldn’t imagine how rich the home owner was) I’ll tell you one thing though, as great as basements are for storage they are a ticking time-bomb for foundation issues.

I feel like I’ve stumbled into the secret garden, or an amusement park for adults who buy, sell and trade real estate, services, knowledge and so much more.
