It has most everything Colorado has to offer, but the colder winters seem to keep the overpopulation at bay, which I like.

Overpopulation and lower housing inventory has lead to over inflation of real estate prices.

The schools out there are over populated and the school district is working hard to catch up.

I've invested in town homes which has worked well so far but I see so many condos/apartments being built around the DC metro area that it has me wondering if this is the new trend or overpopulation at it's finest? 

I can say with confidence that there are parts of CA that will understand your plight.Years ago, before it got overpopulated, I lived in Chino, CA (not Chico) where it was predominantly farm land.

Do you mean overpopulated with investors, rehabbers, flippers, wholesalers, etc.?

Mountains, trails, and not overpopulated if you want to get away from the condensed population of large cities.

There simply isn't enough housing to keep up with the amount of human overpopulation.  

An over populated area doesn't have the infrastructure to support negative economic fluctuations.

Unfortunately, they have to cull the herds regularly to keep them from over-populating.
