To use a poker analogy, why would you show the others at the table your cards?

I work as a poker dealer(tipped position) in Black Hawk, CO.

Poker buddy....poker.

This is known as “speculating,” and it isn’t much better than getting in your car, driving to Vegas, and betting all your money at the poker table.

He either has very poor social skills or he just doesn't give a dime about people once they paid.If you have paid the "Apprentice" program you will be eventually invited to spend some time with Phil some weekends, and play poker, smoke cigars and stuff like that, if you are into that, and some "private" events of the kind.

I am a "retired" professional poker player, I have been fortunate to do fairly well over the years in poker, but I have become disillusioned with playing the game for a living, and feel like it is time for a change. 

Do you like to paint, gamer, surf all over the world, big game fisherman, hike Europe, collect comic books?  

Far more people invest in stocks and the market is perfectly efficient and Wall Street is hard to beat at its own game.

I guess you could have titled your post Poker to Monopoly!
