Start paying taxes on the rental cash-flow or exchange the house?

I talk to people for a minimum of five minutes A lot of people disagree with me on this point: they say you should never spend more than five minutes with any one person in order to exchange as many business cards as possible.

I am interested in partnering with a plumber, electrician, HVAC, and general contractor and giving them each 10% ownership in each property in exchange for their work on the rehab portion of the strategy. 

What makes a self-directed IRA custodian different is that they are not purely connected to the public exchanges and limited to investing in stocks, bonds and funds, but rather have the staff training and paperwork to document the IRA's investment in the more individualized transactions that occur when investing in real estate, notes and other non-traditional assets.

I wanted to confirm my understanding on 1031 exchanges.

Everybody else on here is exchanging great info, you’re literally the only person attacking people and being negative!

Once your properties appreciate and you pay down the mortgages a bit, you can do a 1031 exchange into a larger multifamily property if that's what suits you.Any other questions feel free to ask.

I'm assuming it was list price offer based on the exchange I had.
