It certainly beats the crap out of working an additionl 40 hrs/week to gain overtime salary.Maybe it's more like this-- it's better ROI to put your cash in a money market account than keep it under your mattress; but it's better to put it into an index fund than a money market; better still to select a prize-winning stock; better still to correctly pick hedge funds/explosive growth companies, etc., etc.

She showed up, picked a fight, and said that - despite our protests - she would come in when we were not here, bringing whomever she wanted (meaning contractors) through without our knowledge - and that was that.We told her that was breaking and enetring and she said "Call it whatever you want."

I included all utilities in the rent, and collected weekly, or however they recieved their paychecks, just to keep it simple.I am wondering if any of you have tried this with single family homes that have three bedrooms or more, instead of just renting the house out.

You can pick up a triplex and get some cash flow, while rehabbing another building - use those profits to pick up another rental for more cash flow, and so on and so forth.
