Highly leveraged "owners" of rental properties are functioning as rent collectors for the lender.

However, the prices are still very low in Tulum, where we own our property, and where real estate is starting a real boom.

I don't have a ton of experience looking at county tax collector's websites, but any time I have they list the EXACT amount of taxes that were paid or are due.

What's missing is the promises of wealth pouring into the city; the job creation, lower taxes due to the coffers being full, increased tourism and of course, the housing boom. 

I hope this economic development boom will last for many years to come!  

I literally just got started educating myself on this so my answers may seem a little fuzzy, but this is what I was thinking:-I plan on finding my inventory by contacting a county's tax collector/treasurer's office and requesting a list of parcels that are delinquent on their property taxes but are owned free and clear (So there's no mortgage on the property);-Exit strategy: Craigslist, Postlets, Zillow, etc (Too simplistic??)

It's booming and if you can find the right areas there's plenty of opportunity

I ask my friend Steve (the British sports car collector guy on my RTPG video) to sell the truck because it sat on the street and collected one too many parking tickets on Fridays.
