The glue on the back is normally a contractor grade but be warned you must use a latex based FLOOR primer to control the dust and dirt on the floor prior to installation.

That has to cover every item in the units that can and will wear out (flooring, paint, cabinets, faucets, lighting, appliances, etc) as well as capital reserves for big ticket items (roof, HVAC, siding, windows, plumbing, electrical etc).

I always use the charcoal color, the silver reflects too much light and can make it hard to see through.
