The thing to weigh against that is also the reduced risk....this company is producing a custom product without the need for any subs until the point of roofing, siding and finish work.

I am guaranteed X amount of energy from my panels, for the last 3 years since I put them on have produced about 2/3 * X so basically they have to refund me that difference at the end of the year, which puts my investment in the black.  

I think the general consensus is that they all can work, but they all produce a microscopic conversion rate.

(Though doing so for Providence usually produces shock at how high the taxes are, especially compared to other cities/towns.)The Realtors used to have a good tax rates page with all the tax rates but then they reorganized their site and I think eliminated the page.So now I use RIPropInfo.com for the assessor links and tax rates - there's a link at the bottom under "See Also" for "Property Tax Rates" that goes to the state Division of Municipal Revenue page listing the rates.That's also a good page because it's a reminder that some cities and towns also have "fire district" taxes in addition to regular property taxes (and sometimes special water district taxes full under the fire district taxes rubric, e.g., Portsmouth Water & Fire).

The biggest job producer in this area is likely the Nuclear Power Plant, not much else.

Natural gas itself is one of if not the cleanest burning fuel and generally produces no CO.I would just make sure you get the furnace serviced on a regular basis, and have CO monitors.   

What are they doing to produce business, or what are they planning on doing?

If a property can not produce positive cash flow with a hypothetical 100% financing it is probably a bad investment.

It will likely never produce positive cash flow.
