We are toying with the idea of fix and flips to generate capital, then do a few BRRRR to preserve and cash flow as we transition into MF.

If you are able to get clients, understand the market and industry, learn to finesse a real estate transaction, and effectively help people reach their home sales goals smoothly, no one will care about what you did before.

@Jason Dalka Interesting that you mention Short North...I just saw an anniversary article about how the Short North Posse was the last gang with a stronghold in the area...the cops smoked them out and it was a 2-year effort to arrest them all after they relocated to Italian Village/Weinland Park.I hear you on the Cleveland front...I am pulling for the city to make a recovery (same with Dayton), but the driver for sustainable transition is yet to be discovered.

A lenders goal should be to make this as smooth of a transaction for you as possible.

Reregistration documents for the assets would have to be filed with the new custodian and this can take some time.Overall you want to choose a custodian who is knowledgeable in the assets you are looking to invest in because the process will always move quicker and more smoothly.
