However I'm at a point now where I'm contemplating leaving my career and starting a new journey.What did you transition to after leaving your job?  

You have to check  NJ transit routes but I would say woodbridge by train.

I worked as an agent doing rentals in NYC for about a year, 2013-14 but transitioned to working for a mid sized management company handling their in house leasing also in Manhattan for 5.5 years. 

The property was set up in a way that this would have been a relatively easy transition, and it was on a multi-family lot.

Most MLOs start out as a poorly paid glorified telemarketer essentially cutting their teeth for months before slowly transitioning to a true MLO.

(Not doing this is why a lot of 'neighborhood experts' get caught off guard when the market is transitioning up or down - they've called themselves the neighborhood expert a few too many times and they're not doing the research anymore.)Secondly, great listing agents are highly skilled at increasing the market value of the listing before it ever goes on market.

What are some ways I can gravitate exceptional tenets as well as provide a smooth, efficient, and easy application process?

Whenever you are buying a property out of state you should do a few things to ensure it's as smooth as possible.Don't buy in the roughest neighborhood in the urban core.
