I am looking to diversify my investments with real estate and find a second career for when I retire from my current job.

I'm just beginning my journey in REI after reading the Ultimate Guide and was wondering what's the best way to get startedMy family and I live in the Bay Area.

My questions are: if I accept Seller financing eg. 5-10%, I wonder what the rate and other costs involved, and it could be high... compared to I may just borrow against my 401K so I pay myself interest and minImum cost Involed?

I looked up the requirements for getting a real estate license in Ohio and I am required to take these 4 classes before I can take the exam: Real estate principles and practicesReal estate lawreal estate financeReal estate appraisalI was wondering if anybody had any good recommendations for where I should take these classes.

I wonder how other virtual wholesalers tackle this issue. 

Just got out of my Nurisng job last year and became a full time REI. 

My goal is to buy land and build my dream home within 7 years in NC and continue building my portfolio and ENJOY life while I'm younger(ish).I do work a job, it is 4 days/week FT. 

I wonder if they'll call me out for stating a distance "as the crow flies".
