Dion - I don't believe that there is anything recorded against the real estate based on what the OP has posted; I think that there might be some judgments out there against people's names that match the names of the OP, and that is what is causing the lender and title heartburn.

I agree that trying to learn/take it all in at once is difficult and can deff cause some chaos and confusion.

I am someone that have flipped several homes in my life, and now I can see where it is time the raise the interest rate at the Fed's Discount window.By doing this will increase home values, and cause more homes to be sold.

That can include requesting you turn in the sales contract of your existing property which somewhere in all of that paperwork the Sub2 idea will be flushed out and I would guess it would cause a rejection on any new loan.
