It's a pretty busy market here in the city with many ways to look for deals (also pretty competitive right now as the summer heats up).

That's why I want to go where there is a less competition and where math works.

Hello all -My current non-RE related job is probably going to end in about 6-8 months and I'm trying to think through options on whether to do REI full time or if I should get a job in the real estate industry for a while so my family is not 100% reliant on investment income to pay the bills. 

Learn real estate before trying to deal in real estate, it is not like other industries of our economy, it is unique. 

Even then, watch your asset like a hawk.Do competitive analysis of other rentals in your neighborhood.  

Landlords will try to avoid changing anything on the industry standard agreements.

When I got out I took some vocational schooling in Industrial Maintenance and Computers.

I have a 'S' corp in another industry and despite me forming it RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING, it had very little impact on my day to day operations and tax ramifications. 

Less competition, but certainly up-and-coming areas.Feel free to call or message me any time.

Maybe just another opportunity to make money that allot of us would walk away from so there might be less competition in this area.
