Here in WI, the landlord is required to provide a mailing address of an actual location on the rental agreement (not a po box) where documents/notifications can be sent or dropped off in person (however it is ok to also require rent be sent to a PO box).

If they are not text savvy, have them mail rent to a PO Box in your town if you're not comfortable with them dropping it off in your mailbox.

You can get a PO box for responses and make up a name (Acme surveys) so you don't have to provide your name or address.
