IMO just because a deal is outside of the box doesn't mean it's a bad deal and I sometimes feel like, for some agents that I've worked with, if it doesn't fit into a standard, cookie cutter, every single day agreement -- it's wrong.I believe if everyone is transparent, if everyone knows the risk and there is a base level of protection is given in a deal-- then is a deal is a deal.

I don't know the costs, but at the end of that project, they had to have spent over 1.5 million to end up with a house worth around 800k.So to help answer your question, I suggest looking at Japan's economy as well as China's as well as the US's RE market to see what part of the cycle you are in.

My question is once the house is released what is to stop them from wholesaling the property to another investor- No one was trying to cancel when they thought the bank would only accept 115k but now that I've spent money and the bank is okay with accepting 85k then they no longer want to cooperate.
