@James E.We had some blank canvas on our house.Here's some things that went well, and some things I would have done differently):We love the 'pocket' style windows with recessed jamb looks, (ie: no trim) what I did wrong though, was to order those windows with the jamb extension on them , instead of having that done with the drywall crew.

If you are living there a long time, here are some common things people over look: 1. window/door package2. waterproofing details3. building materials4. air sealing/ indoor air quality, energy performance requirements5. sound reduction6. site challenges / site advantagesThe average person chooses more square feet, and more expensive finishes over performance and durability.

Essentially live in the 45/180 window and continually do 1031's with added leverage and increased profits to continue to grow and put have more rental properties.I want to have as much cash flow as I can each month and use that and opm to grow.

At least some of them probably still run (or the seller was smart enough to take the window A/C units out of the windows for the pictures), but you might end up buying some A/C units soon.
