According to Trulia, it's a relatively safe light green neighborhood, (Midtown is showing up as an dangerous area in red though).

Sometimes, things as simple as that, where you would think anyone would know rent checks are our income, do see it until we present it to them in clearer light. 

Inspections for condos are going to be mostly visual inspections for water damage, checking on plumbing and water fixtures, appliances, etc as most condo associations covers the exterior, foundation, and structural issues. 

Paint looks kind of baby blue in the picture but its a light gray.Loft painted, it was nice not to have to cover up the ground since we replaced the carpet.Catsby picking out the carpet he likes.Kitchen nearly finished.

Its easy to get excited about the counter tops, floors, fixtures, paint, appliances etc. 

Lights? 

Had a roof claim to replace roof, painted inside and out, new painted cabinets, new flooring , new plumbing fixtures and many hours of hard work after work.

it paint us all in a bad light!  

You are way better to invest that money into high efficiency fixtures and toilets.
