Be able to give them lessons on what you're doing and know enough to give them good answers to their negative questions.Show the positives this industry demands from you.

People work 80+ hours a week in highly stressful jobs/industries just to make a living in that city and 75% of their after tax income goes out the window to the ridiculous market rents for their TINY spaces.

My credit score sucks and as I'm brand new to this industry without any feet in the door I sort of suck with comprehending a lot of the terms and processes...

Experienced wholesalers are a great asset, but watch out for purported wholesalers who just paid for a course, have no skin in the game and have no real knowledge of the industry.

Most people in this day and age will not work in the same industry their whole lives.  

A good cabinet shop/distributor is going to be running a good program like 2020 or Prokitchen (Although 2020 is more of the industry standard), which (hopefully) means less potential problems with the layout. 

Toward the end of construction, the industry in which I work (petrochemical/chemical/mining) really started to take a dive, as most people are aware.

New here and new to the industry. 

My life is very busy and fulfilling, however, I've always had an itch to get into the real estate industry.  

But on the fortunate side of that, my family is in the housing industry already.
