Can I build 2 additional ADU’s on existing R2 duplex?

(My initial thought is take the reduced risk and go cheaper on our first one knowing we can always buy more expensive next time, but I also don't want to pass up “great” deals if they exist.

We purchased a home on a large city lot subdivided the lot and retained the existing home to be renovated and placed in our rental portfolio.

Turnkey companies like this do not exist in Columbus, Ohio.

We are also dealing w/out of state relative w/Alzheimer's and cancer, so that was another reason for considering some PM (obviously looking for another one is a possibility; not sure if there could be issues w/a company not wanting to get into this existing situation).

We were able to purchase an existing rental and were able to get the last few years rental history, we knew the condo would be able to pay for itself. 

I would recommend this, since their existence creates more work and expense for you, with little upside without the additional income to offset.Regarding lawns...I will assume this is a SFR. 

So when you owner finance the property to someone Subject To the existing mortgage, you run the risk of your lender finding out and calling the note due.

Personally, the peace of mind of renting, saving and self educating more appeals to me more than forcing myself into a deal with my ENTIRE savings leaving me zero in the bank to obtain a property.
