Think about dealing with the cable company, a big banking institution, or government.

I'm looking for suggestions on banking institutions, lending terms I should be looking for (30 yr fixed, 25 yr because its a partnership), typical interest rates, etc. 

I grew to discover I partnered in the wrong way because in 2017 I signed as a guarantor on the lease for up to 5 years.

Tough to convince any institutional lender to loan you $20K. 

Unfortunately, this was before I discovered BP and the world of house hacking, or it would probably have been how I started.

With an equity partner you will likely need a private loan not an institutional lender.

Can you structure the deal so that the purchase is contingent upon what you discover through the preliminary title report?
