Assuming the Exterior is completely dried in, the next steps to finish the project would be:Drywall or Wall Finish - a Cabin in Montana might prefer a Wood Finish instead of the Drywall we typically use in Arizona - Possibly a combination of both; I suspect Drywall would be least expensive but maybe not as Aesthetically correct.Assume an inspection is required to confirm proper Nailing of Wallboard prior to next steps - Make sure Wiring and Plumbing passed inspection prior to installing Wallboard.Tape, Texture, and Paint - If Drywall is used, not required for a Wood Wall Finish, but Wood might need to be Stained and Sealed.Flooring - Carpet, Tile, WoodMillwork - Cabinets and CountertopsElectrical Trim - Includes installation of Electrical Outlets, Switches, and Light Fixtures.

That being said, would the properties be more valuable if I left the first floor in the same layout and add a half bath to the dining room, or would it make more sense to move the kitchen cabinets and appliances into the dining room since there'd still be room for a table and make a laundry room and half bath out of the kitchen area?

I’ll post a picture of a slab that cost $500 and $1100 to cut - this was enough for a kitchen and 2 bathrooms.Same $500 slab in another kitchen:Also, as you can see, for rentals, I’m a fan of darker colored cabinets.

@Joseph Konney: The upper unit the guy I bought it from had started the work already, so there was little to do besides paint and finish bathroom floor paint and light fixtures and same with Kitchen and 1 cabinet and I repainted because the color he had was awful.
