Since the "invoice" accompanying the letter was nothing more than a FAX from the pool guy providing his estimate for the repair, I called him to 1) ask what exactly happened to the jet pump and 2) can we get an actual invoice stating the nature of the repair and its cause.At first, the pool guy said the pump was old and just failed on its own, but refused to send us an invoice saying we would have to get it from the HOA or property manager.
