I noticed that condos Hoa fees are fairly expensive.

The loan is very expensive with thousands and thousands more in closing fees associated with the construction loan.

It doesn’t matter if your 1099 goes to your LLC or you directly.Talk to a CPA so you can properly log and track your expenses during the year.

@Lidia Bowers that's a really broad question and we don't have much info to answer with.I assume your SFH rental income will cover all living expenses and provide enough for the bank to consider you a reasonable risk?

Currently my husband is AD and we have never bought a home due largely to being stationed overseas and in very expensive areas.

But it must cash flow after all expenses. 

And they can be expensive to install or replace.
