It is represented as points (percentages) so when you hear a quote of 9% and 2 points; you have 9% interest on the loan (annual rate broker up into monthly payments assuming a 360-day year) and 2% of the loan amount is collected and paid to the lender at closing.

I do so because I know with the complexities that exist in the state Im licensed in, I dont want to run into some gotcha in a market Im less familiar with the complexities of.I also in the markets I am licensed in hire one of my colleagues to represent me, but that is for an entirely different reason.
