When I think of "investment", I think of creating new money, usually with a 2-6 year time horizon.

That what it is bought for is the "current value" Than a wholesaler has to over inflate the price to create a new "current value"?

I use what's called sendoutcards and with this I can create my cards (or choose theirs) and they stuff it, stamp it, and mail it for me.

One other thing, The biggest problem was not the scams that were goign on, that has always happened, it was the Zero interest loans that created a lower payment and created the idea they could afford more house, When in actuality they could not.
