Making less income on a month to month basis is not a major issue to me because we plan to take 100% of our profit and reinvest it.

Most units that come available will probably rent for $50-$75 more immediately without any renovations.I plan to do a test and fix a unit up a little more than the others.

What do you plan on doing for your investing?

Some houses with this same floor plan don't have the extra 100 sq ft little space that I have.

(Appx $120k) I am a GC and will be doing a lot of the work myself so the cost probably won't get that high but I want to be realistic and plan for any unforseen challenges. 

@Ian Ippolito makes a compelling case that Fundrise should be approached quite cautiously, and I don't plan to put any more in.

I am planning to finance with 25% down but if need to, could come up with the money for all cash purchase.

While new to REI, I plan on investing in commercial real estate (Northern California, Tahoe, Nevada, Pacific Northwest).I have enjoyed the BP podcasts and learned much from Brandon's books, among others.

I plan on having a few months worth of rehabbing so I'll have plenty of time to think of questions.
