Well I’ve been building houses all my life I just turned 21 back in October and I’ve been wanting to get into investment properties for awhile but nobody around where I live does it or if they do they don’t want to give you insight or advice and I’m just nervous about losing money igWhat's the struggle on the four-plex? 

Even the bigger people on here couldn't swing that or would have to Syndicate out which is another animal. 

you can ask people on the ground there for referrals and then meet those referrals.buying a property is a big deal. 

@Itay Heled  I haven't but I know some people have mentioned ALE solutions.

Either1) your startup takes off and you can distribute profit fast enough to pay off your debts, or2) you find another source of $100,000 a year (which barely even starts to pay down the $300k, but might provide a better chance for a better loan), or3) you BK and possibly lose the rental houses to creditors (hopefully not, but we don’t know how they are held), or 4) you sell the houses, take the tax hit, work with the IRS on a payment plan whose interest will be much lower than your CCs, and focus on the startup.  

They prey on people as well. 

I get a lot of people who start off with the idea of JC becuase of how close it is to NYC.
