-My plan is to refinance and hold-I live in OhioMy issue is that EVERY bank I've talked to requires me to "season" the property for 6 months before I can refinance even though I do not have a mortgage. 

I'll just pay for the rehab out of pocket and have to accept a longer seasoning period.  

This is probably going to be the most unique recession that we have ever seen and I personally think that normal measures of classifying disaster based off of classes are not going to work, I think that it's more likely that this will be a case by case scenario depending on industries hardest hit and what mix of tenants you serve.

You'll have to find a mix of returns and ease-of-management that works for you, as the two usually don't go hand in hand. 

However, it is still 6 miles away from Big Sky Resort and many people want to stay as close to the ski lifts as possible during the winter season.

We were in the middle of the busy season with the ski resort running at full speed.

The current lender sort of threw a curve ball into the mix a week ago by changing the amortization from 20 years to 15 years.

I'm getting mixed messages on out of state rental property investing. 

I'm really interested in learning more from more seasoned REI with respect to if this is a good starting platform for real estate investing?
