You couldn't just walk in a expect to see thier logo in the same place in every house, at least not in the same place on the fireplace hearth for example.Then, those homes were considered high quality builds, not all expensive but quality work and they used small appointments to show craftsmanship.

The pros are:Having access to MLS(which is awesome)Being able to see listed properties yourself and make your own appointments and lock box codesSubmit your own offersCons:Pass the examHang your license with a broker (although probably not hard)Pay MLS duesTake a course for the exam (but preparing for the test you will learn a lot about real estate)Do continued education (but not really a bad thing)You will have to disclose your an agent if you are dealing directly with a homeowner/seller

I just can't get over what a great forum this is, one of the best Internet forums I've seen for any subject, not just real estate.I am a buy-and-hold landlord though I would like to learn other strategies over time.One of the great things about Milwaukee is a large swath of the city and inner suburbs are full of sturdily built duplexes.
