I have many LLC's  but for different reasons and if they are single member closely held they offer little to no asset protection..but if you have un related and arms length members there is limited liablity for those members..  

Although there are a lot of courses, coaching, etc related to starting syndications, I don't know anyone that did one as their first real estate investment.You're in a great market for it though.

I am primarily interested in learning about long term rental investing, finding partners, and learning about the market in the Research Triangle, as I am relatively new to the area.

This should set you up for success even if you have a relatively small reserve fund. 

We all know that there are three strategies for Real Estate Investing: Flipping, Buy and Holds and Wholesaling.I do know that you at least need your “core 4”; Relator, Property Manager, Contractor and Lender for OOS investing but is there a specific strategy to follow for OOS investing that increases chances for success?
