From there I want to expand the number of houses and duplex’s that I own until they all support and pay each other off.I have no background in real estate but I have been planning to rent out homes since I was 12 (26 now) and I feel that I am in the position to begin.

There is no tax code requirement that a 401k trust have a custodian or 3rd party administrator, but that has always been the dominant paradigm in the Wall Street world of investing where trades are institutionally processed.
