I believe @Austin Davis is hosting a zoom meetup tonight for Cedar Rapids area REI.

I was also worried the Governor would just shut down travel to out of state people and I would the host would keep my money.

Interesting questions @Kate Glassman For me its probably just the basics and fundamentals of staying in front of me with info and value, perhaps ask about hosting a meetup in your local area, but to actually get in with me a new lender usually has to come in and save a deal to kinda "prove they can get it done" type of thing and then after that little trial by fire they we can do some normal paced stuff.

The city has just been approved for a new casino and a 500+ unit hotel, which will start to revitalize the city, not completely, but it’s a start

Zac hosts some great seminars in that REIA and plus its a great networking place.Being local is definitely an advantage in a market like Huntsville which is getting heated up by the hour!

We host them monthly at Tony M's Restaurant the last Thursday of the month at 6pm. 

Las Vegas has a lot of booms and busts and is headed for a struggle currently with the casino and hospitality industry.
