I feel I've done a good job if when I look in a couple of weeks and see that there have lots lots of "views" on this thread.My last post for awhile.

Since I have a decent job and credit score and little secondary debt I've decided that it's time for me to start acquiring rental properties to help finance my puttering after retirement in about 10 years or so.

For example, make sure they have a good job and have been employeed for more than a year.

My dad used to live on the outskirts of Newburgh and then he was looking for a place when his job lost the lease on the house they were giving him.

My monthly savings from my job is $2000+ after all my expenses including a overestimated weekly allowance calculation and all.

I have a desk JOB that I unfortunately still have to work while I'm building my real estate empire.

It can be done as a part time job, but it requires some help when you have big problems like a water pipe bursting.

I just had a question.My house payment got to be too much to handle, I was forced to change jobs, abandon the house, and move south for work.The foreclosure sale is tomorrow, I wasn't able to avoid it thus far by doing In Lieu of, or selling it.
