It seems you could conceivably build a brand new home for a relatively low price.3) Playing off of number 2, can you buy anything that would make a good investment with 500k?

There are always exceptions but I have come to the realization that buying a property with an ADU versus building one is the way, way better option for most investors.I am always on the lookout for ADUs, even if they are not permitted because in my limited experience, it is easier to fix what is there than build something brand new.

Since I'm brand new (literally just started looking into REI about a week or so ago) there are some numbers and percentages on the calculator that I find difficult to estimate due to lack of experience in this field.

Brand spanking new to the world of real estate investing but I’ve seen the light and there’s NO going back now.

If you buy a brand new 350k house, do you want to live next door to some ugly looking, leaning house??

@Justine Hoggatt , about the Payrange, can it used on any brand washer/ dryer ?
