Keep in mind your LLC will likely have to foreign qualify in the state you want to buy in as well.

One article states that they are not service dogs and do not qualify under ADA and then another says they fall under the fair housing act and landlords must allow (albeit that is for long term housing and this is not) but I can't seem to find a concrete answer on this.I do not want the dog, especially one that will shed (yes I know they don't shed like a lab) and is a newly acquired puppy at my cabin.

The single family home in front is usually occupied by young professional couples or a couple of roommates who all qualify for the rental terms (i.e.- three times the rent for each individual, not collectively).

(aka the "happiness factor") - As I understand it, a second home loan is possible at 10% down as long as I use the unit at least 14 days a year, I can claim the income, but I cannot use the income potential to qualify for the loan?
