What books would you guys recommend I take with me for the trip.

That is a red flag in my book.  

I have heard through various books and podcasts (the BiggerPockets podcast, David Greene's Long Distance Real Estate Investing, and Brandon Turner's Book on Rental Properties all great listens/reads) that they tend to be more difficult to come by than other team members.

BNI offers a very good book on Baltimore landlord tenant laws and also has a lease available.

I’ve read several books on REI and wholesaling.

Questions like: how long their units have been vacant, do you or the residents pay utilities, how many tours have you been giving each week, how much is your application fee, etc.You can obviously customize the questions to fit your needs.
