See if you can find out who the president is and see if you can have a conversation with them.

I currently work in marketing and advertising sales, but look to build a rental portfolio. 

because of the competitive market in  San Diego there are many agents that reduce there commission and advertise it. 

Once you have your license you will be able to advertise as much as possible and push your company through as many channels as possible. 

I wanted to do some sort of car advertising either magnets or sticker decals has anyone had any experience with this?

ONLY send any sort of advertising or offer to someone if you're absolutely certain they are interested. 

There are personal injury lawyers advertising everyday on TV  When we tried to move a LLC property  over to personals.

I've called Atlanta home for the last 6 years where I currently work in the digital advertising industry.I have grown more and more interested in real estate investing over the past year and I'm finally at the point where I'm ready (and able) to pull the trigger on my first property. 

I think it would have to be a pretty in-demand area for that to work, which it sounds like you might be in.And how would that work for the advertisement?
