I was using the "@" symbol and then clicking on the names and every time I did it, it was making the name blue initially which seemed like it was linked, but once I was clicking off of it to do another name the link wasn't working anymore.

Hello Everyone,Thanks for taking the time to read this post.Ive talked with a family member who is willing to put the full purchase price of the 4 plex if the numbers look good.My thoughts are that I can refi the property in a couple of years so my family member gets paid back all his money and then I assume the rest of the loan.For the initial 2 years of repayment, what is a range of interest to pay back on that loan?

They are not without their quirks with pricing but can be accommodating if you make a case for a lower market value than perhaps what they initial thought or received from the vendor which delivered the evaluation.

Perhaps I was drinking too much when I first read that, but my initial interpretation was that windows were part of common elements and thus POA responsibility (I hate legal jargon).Since it seems I may be incorrect on that, that makes me feel a little better.

If the Lender is your buddy, then the initial terms may fall on your plate, but that is more due to being associated with each other and is not a typical lender relationship.
