Hello Everyone,I'm re-introducing myself after a year long hiatus.I'm looking forward to investing in this beautiful place we call the bay area & beyond.I don't have any investing experience, yet.But what I do have is 10 years of construction experience.I'm a Construction Superintendent for one of the big commercial players in the area.Started out as a Carpenter apprentice & worked my butt off to managing construction sites, from the field side.My main focus is TI's, think remodels of commercial office space.I will use REI to gain freedom of time, movement & energy.I'm looking forward to connecting with like minded individuals & learning a ton.Thanks,Torre 

I currently work in the construction industry (hoping to learn as much as possible about rehabbing) and I still own that property and currently rent it out.

He's 5 years into his career in construction management so we have considered an inspector, appraiser, wholesaler, project manager of some sort but we need more ideas especially with jobs that have a flexible schedule. 

@Diana for your first wholesale deal, maybe try to find an experience flipper/rehabber here on bigger pockets in your area to work with and figure out a wholesale fee that would be appropriate for you and they can help you through analyzing the property construction costs, doing the construction, and overall project so you get paid to learn a lot about the business first hand. :)

As someone who has sold over $150 Million of investment real estate and owns a real estate brokerage, property management company, licensed construction company, insurance brokerage and licensed title company I've got a unique level of experience in the industry.

We still purchased that new construction, but was also able to close on a property that was in a rapidly developing area so all eggs arent in one basket.

You can buy it new or go to a Construction Junction or Habitat for Humanity Restore and look for vintage cabinet/drawer hardware.

The money I would lose renovating a house before renting rooms isn't worth it.The new construction between Sloan Lake and Broncos stadium are nice. 

Anyone have ideas or leads on developers, builders, or even aspiring new construction  homeowners that could be interested in taking it forward?

Where I Stand: I just finished an internship estimating with a large Construction Management Company.
