No open houses, no more than 4 people in a property at once and we have to use the 6' social distancing while there.

Last summer we finally found a property (12000 sqft, 3 story, masonry/brick building with 45 car parking lot) and will hopefully be closing on it this month pending any Covid-19 delays.The last 4 weeks have provided more time at home with my family, thanks to the social distancing requirements in NY, and I'm trying to find a way to make this more of a norm than an exception.

I'm not joking when I tell you we discovered an engagement ring worth $10,000 (I have a jeweler friend) plus a lot of other high-end jewelry.

And your personal insurance might not be willing to step up if they decide you were engaging in a "business activity" without proper coverage. 

I'm going to start investing in multifamily in the united states but everyone I've talked to so far says financing will be difficult as I don't have a US social insurance number or credit history.

So my post is twofold.  1) Do not ever engage in any business dealings with these people.
