As apart of my 2019 goals, I plan to branch out from doing just single-family rentals to exploring opportunities on the commercial RE side of the world.

I’ve come across 3 strategies in particular that I’m interested in exploring, (Buy&Hold, Fix&Flip, and Wholesaling).

I have a big family and would love a few acres for the kiddos to explore. 

I have created value and have explored refinancing but I have a really good rate and the amount I would take out is not too significant

I guess I’m just exploring different options.

I'd love to shadow an agent and an investor to explore a bit what each is about. 

If you're just starting out you should explore several markets.

I will be in Austin Area on Friday Feb 8 to Monday Feb 11 and will stay and explore the south Round Rock area as that is the area I want to buy home. 

Work that is covered under Easy Permit process:https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/depts/bldgs/provdr...When a Building Permit is NOT required:https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/depts/bldgs/provdr...The rehabs we've done have been covered by the Easy Permit program with a GC, licensed plumber, and licensed electrician on the application.Not sure if this is possible, but to manage your construction roadmap, might be worth exploring getting an Easy Permit quickly and do some work that is covered under that while you're waiting for the full SPR Building Permit to do the more intensive stuff.Good luck!
