@Nicole PierIt is legal to transfer a lot from personal ownership to a C corporation via quitclaim deed and then sell it, but the IRS generally treats the transfer as a taxable event under IRC §1001 at fair market value (FMV).

A few things to help clear it up:Which state’s laws apply – Even if you set up an LLC in Wyoming or Nevada, because the property is in Florida, you’d still have to register that LLC as a “foreign LLC” in Florida to legally own property there.
