The buyer should have read the conditions and would have had to sign off on them to remove them (eg financing and inspection)...at least that is how it works where I am.The fact that the buyer's agent never said there was a problem is not good.

It's also wise to at least notify your carrier but clarify you are not opening a claim at this time There's usually notice requirements, and you at least want to keep the door open.
