Hi everyone,For landlords in Cook County, Illinois who rent to Section 8 (HACC Housing Choice Voucher) tenants:If I already have a tenant in place, am I allowed to increase the rent to the current Fair Market Rent according to the Housing Authority of Cook County?

We have them vacate for a few days and put them in a hotel with food vouchers and have the whole place fumigated.

You have to make 'sacrifices', maybe don't buy a $50K vehicle every 4 years, cook at home more often instead of eating out/ordering in, etc. 

When Momdani(sp) gets his way and the grocery stores are government owned, and short on food, reality will sink in.

I would be in favor of a voting system directly correlated to the amount of taxes one pays.Example --- If you are a Section 8 / Food Stamp freeloader who pays $0 in taxes, you get zero votes.
